Attention vehicle owners: Price hike coming for LPG
Fluctuations in exchange rates are being reflected in LPG prices as a hike. The increase, which will be effective from midnight tonight, will be reflected in pump prices by an average of 42 kuruş.
Volatility in exchange rates continues to cause price increases in the fuel market. The hike to be applied to LPG prices starting from midnight tonight will affect vehicle owners. Experts state that this increase stems from fluctuations in exchange rates and express that fuel prices may change again in the short term.
Fuel prices in Istanbul vary between the European and Anatolian sides. Current prices on the European side are 51.33 TL for gasoline, 53.67 TL for diesel, and 26.06 TL for LPG, while on the Anatolian side, gasoline is at 51.18 TL, diesel at 53.55 TL, and LPG at 25.46 TL.
Following the hike, LPG prices are expected to reach 26.51 TL on the European side of Istanbul, 25.91 TL on the Anatolian side, 26.41 TL in Ankara, and 26.36 TL in Izmir. This increase will directly affect the budgets of those using LPG-powered vehicles for urban transportation. Experts emphasize that similar price increases may continue as long as volatility in the exchange rate persists.
