Bitcoin on the rise again: Reaches highest level in two months

Following tariff announcements from the US, gold prices had reached record levels, but retreated to $3,200 with positive developments in negotiations. During this process, Bitcoin showed an increase of more than 10 percent, rising to $97,000.

Geoff Kendrick, Head of Digital Assets at Standard Chartered, stated that this correction in gold prices could be a positive development for Bitcoin.

Kendrick expressed that after investors exited US assets, Bitcoin has emerged as a better hedging tool compared to gold.

As of 13:15, Bitcoin is trading at $96,777, an increase of 1.14 percent in the last 24 hours. This value remains approximately 8.5 percent below its all-time high of $109,114 reached on January 25, 2025.

Among other cryptocurrencies, Ethereum is trading at $1,824 with a limited increase of 0.21 percent, while Solana fell 1.04 percent to $149.98. XRP is trading at $2.21 with a 0.22 percent decline, while Dogecoin is finding buyers at $0.1804 with a 1.79 percent increase.
