Last week, more than 15 employees were dismissed, including the editor-in-chief. This morning, officials verbally informed channel staff that the channel had been seized.
Cengiz Özdemir, who managed Kültür AŞ during the period when AKP leader and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan served as İBB mayor, is also a major shareholder of Ekotürk.
