Brent crude oil price rises to $87.28 per barrel
A barrel of Brent crude oil is trading at $87.28 in international markets.
The price of a barrel of Brent crude oil, which rose to $87.10 on Thursday, closed the day at $86.96.
As of 09:10 today, the price of a barrel of Brent crude oil is trading at $87.28, an increase of 0.22 percent from the previous close. At the same time, a barrel of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was finding buyers at $83.48.
There was no trading in oil markets on Friday due to the Easter holiday.
The rise in prices at the start of the week was driven by concerns that the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine and the Russia-Ukraine War could negatively affect global energy supplies.
