Brent crude oil price rises to $87.98 per barrel
A barrel of Brent crude oil is trading at $87.98 in international markets.
The price of a barrel of Brent crude oil, which rose to $87.98 yesterday, closed the day at $87.42.
As of 09:35 today, the price of a barrel of Brent crude oil is trading at $87.98, an increase of 0.64 percent compared to the last closing. At the same time, a barrel of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was finding buyers at $84.22.
Data indicating that economic activity remains strong in the US, the world's largest oil-consuming country, and rising geopolitical tensions were effective in the price increase.
