The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) has approved the establishment of Katılımevim Katılım Bankası A.Ş.
The BRSA decisions, which revoked the operating license of AGS Altın Gezegen Varlık Yönetim AŞ and authorized the establishment of a new participation bank under the name Katılımevim Katılım Bankası A.Ş., were published in the Official Gazette.
According to the board decision published in the Official Gazette, the operating license of AGS Altın Gezegen Varlık Yönetim A.Ş., of which Saad Al-Janabi is a founding partner, was revoked after it was determined that he no longer met the requirements for founders. Permission was granted for the establishment of a participation bank named Katılımevim Katılım Bankası A.Ş. by Katılımevim Tasarruf Finansman A.Ş., Serdar Turhan, Ömer Burkay, Ahmet Özcan, and Selay Turhan İnce.
