Central Bank has repealed that regulation
The Central Bank has repealed the regulation regarding the securities maintenance requirement.
In a statement released on the website of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, it was stated: “The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey continues to simplify macroprudential policies in a way that will increase the functionality of the market mechanism and strengthen macro-financial stability.
In the press release dated April 6, 2024, simplification steps regarding the securities maintenance regulation were announced, and it was stated that the regulation in question was planned to be terminated in the near future.
With the Communiqué published in the Official Gazette today, the regulation regarding the securities maintenance requirement has been repealed”
