Central Bank reserves continue to decline

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye's (CBRT) total reserves decreased by 2 billion 458 million dollars in the week of February 23 compared to the previous week, falling to 131 billion 750 million dollars.

The CBRT's weekly money and banking statistics have been released.

Accordingly, as of February 23, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by 3 billion 613 million dollars to 82 billion 479 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves stood at 86 billion 92 million dollars on February 16.

During this period, gold reserves increased by 1 billion 155 million dollars, rising from 48 billion 116 million dollars to 49 billion 271 million dollars.

The Central Bank's total reserves fell by 2 billion 458 million dollars in the week of February 23 compared to the previous week, dropping from 134 billion 208 million dollars to 131 billion 750 million dollars.
