An important development has occurred regarding marriage loans. It has been noted that plans are underway to reorganize the system to encourage fertility. In line with the regulation, it was reported that if young people who use the marriage loan have children, the loan debt will be counted as child support.

According to the report in Türkiye Gazetesi; Enes Efendioğlu, General Manager of Youth Services at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, stated that they are working on new support mechanisms for young people, saying, "As you know, our state now provides support to young people who want to get married through the Family and Youth Bank. The first use of this money was the marriage loan; an interest-free loan is provided, and repayment of this loan begins after two years. There is no additional interest; you pay back the exact amount you received. Now, we are working on an additional regulation regarding this. Perhaps a model where the state waives this money through the provision of child support is on the agenda to be announced soon."

On the other hand, another legislative proposal aimed at increasing the population has been submitted to Parliament. The proposal requests "granting employment rights in public institutions to women who give birth to their third child." It was noted that the KPSS (Public Personnel Selection Examination) requirement would not be sought for women with three children, while the determination of beneficiaries would be carried out by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, and appointments would be made via a lottery method. Allocation procedures for the staff and positions to be appointed will be carried out independently of other legal regulations. Furthermore, this right can only be used once.
