CHP lists debts of some municipalities won in the election
The CHP announced the current debts of some municipalities it won on March 31 via its social media account.
While Denizli Metropolitan Municipality broke the record with a debt of 11 billion lira, Sancaktepe Municipality ranked second with a debt of 2 billion lira.
The CHP announced the current debts of some municipalities it won in the local elections held on March 31, 2024.
According to the statement made on the party's X (Twitter) account, the debts of the municipalities are as follows:
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality: (1 million population) 11.1 billion TL
Istanbul Sancaktepe Municipality: (490 thousand population) 2 billion TL
Kütahya Municipality: (575 thousand population) 1.7 billion TL
Kilis Municipality: (155 thousand population) 502 million TL
Edirne Keşan Municipality: (85 thousand population) 483 million TL
Antalya Kaş Municipality: (65 thousand population) 400 million TL
İzmir Kiraz Municipality: (43 thousand population) 332 million TL
Kütahya Gediz Municipality: (50 thousand population) 262 million TL
Afyonkarahisar Dinar Municipality: (47 thousand population) 125 million TL
Denizli Tavas Municipality: (41 thousand population) 61 million TL
