Consumer confidence index reaches 77.4
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has announced the consumer confidence index for December.
The consumer confidence index, calculated from the results of the consumer tendency survey conducted in cooperation with the Turkish Statistical Institute and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, rose by 2.6 percent in December to 77.4, up from 75.5 in November.
A consumer confidence index value greater than 100 indicates an optimistic outlook in consumer confidence, while a value less than 100 indicates a pessimistic outlook.
