The decision of the Court of Cassation's Grand General Assembly for the Unification of Jurisprudence has been published in the Official Gazette.
The ruling states that approval and consent instructions provided within the scope of consumer loans, such as set-off, netting, and deduction, grant banks the authority to place direct blocks on pensions.
With this decision, which was reached by a majority vote, the way has been opened for pensions to be blocked by banks through consent documents.
