Cost of living for a family of 4 in Istanbul revealed
According to data from the Istanbul Planning Agency, the cost of living in Istanbul has shown a significant increase, approaching 100 thousand liras.
Research conducted by the Istanbul Planning Agency has revealed that the cost of living for a family of four in Istanbul reached 98,735 liras in August. This figure indicates an increase of 2,136 liras compared to the previous month, representing a monthly rise of 2.21%.
Compared to the same period last year, the annual increase rate of the cost of living in Istanbul was determined to be 43.23%. This situation shows that life in the city is becoming more expensive with each passing day. The significant rise in the cost of living in Istanbul also brings economic difficulties for those living in the city.
