Date set for pension raise difference payments

The Social Security Institution (SGK) has announced when individuals receiving retirement, disability, duty disability, widow's, or orphan's pensions will receive their salary increase differences.

The statement included the following:

"The difference amounts resulting from the monthly salary increases for a total of 2 million 441 thousand 795 people receiving retirement, disability, duty disability, widow's, or orphan's pensions under Article 4/1-(c) (Emekli Sandığı) of Law No. 5510, effective from July 1, 2024, will be sent to their accounts at the bank and PTT branches where they receive their pensions and will be paid on July 26, 2024.

Accordingly;

For those who receive their pensions monthly; a 1-month salary difference amount for July,

For those who receive their pensions in three-month installments;

In the 1st group, those receiving pensions for the May-June-July period; a 1-month salary difference amount for July,

In the 2nd group, those receiving pensions for the June-July-August period; a 2-month salary difference amount for July and August,

In the 3rd group, those receiving pensions for the July-August-September period; a 3-month salary difference amount for July, August, and September, have been accrued. The total amount of difference payments is 11 Billion TL."

WHEN WILL THOSE RECEIVING THE LOWEST PENSION GET THEIR SALARY DIFFERENCES?

The differences in the 12,500 TL pensions of retirees who were receiving the lowest pension of 10,000 TL and did not receive an improvement in their salaries due to the raise applied to the base salary will be deposited into their PTT and bank accounts on July 26.
