Decline in Central Bank reserves

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) has announced its weekly money and banking statistics. Total reserves decreased by 1 billion 717 million dollars in the week of February 2 compared to the previous week, falling to 135 billion 444 million dollars.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) has announced its weekly money and banking statistics.

Accordingly, as of February 2, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by 2 billion 616 million dollars to 86 billion 538 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves stood at 86 billion 538 million dollars on January 26.

During this period, gold reserves increased by 898 million dollars, rising from 48 billion 7 million dollars to 48 billion 905 million dollars.

The Central Bank's total reserves decreased by 1 billion 717 million dollars in the week of February 2 compared to the previous week, falling from 137 billion 161 million dollars to 135 billion 444 million dollars.
