Diesel price hike follows gasoline increase
Following the price hike on gasoline yesterday, it has been learned that the price per liter of diesel will also increase as of midnight tonight.
Due to fluctuations in Brent crude oil prices and exchange rates, citizens are closely monitoring gasoline and diesel prices.
Brent crude oil, which had been hovering in the 72-74 dollar range—its lowest level in the last 5 months—for a long time, has started to rise due to increasing tensions in the Red Sea.
With Brent crude oil rising to 79 dollars, consecutive price hikes have begun to hit fuel. Following the 1 lira 49 kuruş increase in gasoline yesterday, the price of diesel has also increased by 1 lira 62 kuruş as of midnight tonight.
IT ROSE TO 37 LIRA IN ISTANBUL AND 38 LIRA IN IZMIR
Following the hike, the price per liter of diesel rose to 37 lira 16 kuruş in Istanbul, 37 lira 78 kuruş in Ankara, and 38 lira 3 kuruş in Izmir.
