Difference payments for retirees earning below 20 thousand liras
With the increase of the lowest pension to 20 thousand liras, retirees earning below this amount will also receive a difference payment. Millions of people are now waiting for the date when the additional amounts will be deposited into their accounts.
The lowest pension has been increased to 20 thousand liras. The regulation has officially entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette.
DIFFERENCE PAYMENTS EXPECTED
With the increase covering approximately 5 million retirees, the question of when the 3 thousand 119 lira salary difference for January will be deposited has become a matter of curiosity. While 16 thousand 881 liras were already deposited into the accounts of those receiving the lowest pension, other retirees whose salaries remained below 20 thousand liras have also become eligible to receive the difference under the new regulation.
The payment schedule for the pension salary increase difference is expected to be announced to the public by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. It is anticipated that the difference amounts for January will be transferred to the retirees' accounts in the first days of February.
