Discount coming for gasoline
Fluctuations in exchange rates and oil prices, along with tax hikes, continue to affect fuel prices. It has been stated that a discount on gasoline will be applied on Tuesday night.
Fluctuations in Brent crude oil and the dollar exchange rate, as well as increases in VAT and SCT rates, are causing changes in gasoline and diesel prices.
Most recently, a price hike of 1.64 TL was applied to gasoline on Thursday, September 14, 2023, and a hike of 2.03 TL was applied to the liter price of diesel on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.
According to information obtained from industry sources, a discount of 1.15 TL is expected for gasoline, effective from Wednesday, starting Tuesday night.
