Dollar exchange rate exceeds 41 TL level again
The dollar has drawn attention by rising above 41 TL for the first time since March. The exchange rate is struggling to maintain this level.
This morning in international markets, the dollar/TL exchange rate rose to 41.01 TL and is trading at 41.0134 as of 09:37, an increase of 0.19 percent. In the interbank market, the dollar is hovering in the 40.857-40.922 TL range.
The dollar had risen to as high as 41.6416 TL on March 19 due to the shock and foreign investor outflow following the detention of Ekrem İmamoğlu. Today, it is testing this level once again.
Against the Turkish lira, the dollar has gained 0.9 percent since the beginning of the month and 16 percent since the beginning of the year.
