Drop in Brent crude oil price per barrel
The price of a barrel of Brent crude is trading at $81.94 in international markets.
As of 09:59 today, the price of a barrel of Brent crude oil fell by 0.30 percent compared to the closing price, reaching $81.94. At the same time, a barrel of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was finding buyers at $76.59.
Following a rise of approximately 5 percent in oil prices last week, prices started the week with a decline as investors turned to profit-taking.
