Effective as of today: 15 percent hike in water prices

The third session of the November ordinary meetings of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) was held at the Assembly Hall of the IMM Headquarters.

The ISKI General Assembly was held during the meeting, which was chaired by the 1st Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Zeynel Abidin Okul. In accordance with the decision taken at the assembly, water tariffs were increased by 15 percent.

NEW TARIFFS HAVE BEEN DETERMINED

The new water tariff that will be effective for residences is as follows:

For residences, the price in the 1st tier for 0-15 cubic meters has increased from 20.63 TL to 23.72 TL; in the 2nd tier for 15-30 cubic meters, the price has increased from 29.69 TL to 34.14 TL; and in the 3rd tier for 30 cubic meters and above, the price has increased from 40.43 TL to 46.49 TL.

For workplaces, the price in the 1st tier for 0-40 cubic meters has increased from 54.04 TL to 62.14 TL, and the price in the 2nd tier for 41 cubic meters and above has increased from 62.50 TL to 71.87 TL.
