EMRA amended the regulation on measures regarding natural gas market distribution licenses
A change has been made to the regulation on measures regarding natural gas market distribution licenses.
The Regulation on Amending the Regulation on Measures Regarding Natural Gas Market Distribution Licenses by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) has been published in the Official Gazette and has entered into force.
Accordingly, after the amount offered by the legal entity that won the network sales tender is deposited into the Authority's account, the debts of the legal entity whose license has been cancelled to public legal entities regarding the natural gas market, as well as its debts to natural and legal persons engaged for service within the scope of this Regulation, will be paid from this amount, and the remaining balance will be transferred to the former license holder after the new license is issued.
On the other hand, EMRA's Regulation on Amending the Natural Gas Market Certificate Regulation was also published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, a change was made to the "Authorization Certificate," which allows public or private companies to issue internal installation and service line certificates and is issued by the Board as written authorization. In "Provisional Article 3," the phrase "The application regarding the authorization certificate will begin as of January 1, 2004" has been changed to "begins as of January 1, 2029."
