Erdoğan: Turkey has been under deliberate attack in every field, including the economy, for nearly 10 years

Stating that they have begun preparations for the March 31 elections, Erdoğan said, "Our campaign team has started its work. Our election calendar is progressing. We had a very productive meeting yesterday with MHP Chairman Mr. Devlet Bahçeli. We will carry our alliance into the future by strengthening it even further."

Erdoğan continued as follows:

Reclaiming Istanbul will be one of the slogans of our struggle. We will further strengthen our alliance. The People's Alliance will enter the election with the right candidates. The CHP could not even continue the projects we started. Under the management of the incompetent CHP, it has turned into a city that tires out Istanbulites. Istanbul is longing for its old days under the CHP mentality. They are used to saying 'you will vote for us whether you like it or not.' They say it in front of the cameras without shame or embarrassment.

We will rescue our nation from this predicament at the end of March. With God's permission, we will win again with high vote percentages. Our cabinet is rapidly continuing its politics of works and service. Each of our municipalities has services that would take hours to count if we tried. We have not withdrawn our support from the earthquake zone. We will stand by our citizens in the earthquake zone with our municipalities. We have never discriminated between our cities. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to this country. We are not ignoring the difficulties our people experience in their daily lives. No one can deny that Turkey is under a sinister attack. Together with our nation, we have managed to remain standing without collapsing. We have seen a process that began with a global pandemic and continued with the Russia-Ukraine war. We have mobilized all resources.

"OUR GOAL IS TO WIN ALL MUNICIPALITIES"

Saying, "We will explain that we want to bring the stability we have achieved in the government to our cities as well," Erdoğan stated, "We will stand against opposition municipalities that cannot provide infrastructure with the 'Century of Turkey' municipalism. No one in this party, including myself, is irresponsible. The disgraces seen in other parties cannot enter the doors of the AK Party. We will show our nation that our long years in power have not corrupted us, but on the contrary, have given us experience. Our goal is for the AK Party and the People's Alliance to win nearly all of the municipalities in all 30 metropolitan cities, 51 provinces, and all districts. It is our duty to be wherever our citizens are. We will work day and night until the election," he said.
