Erzurum Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry issues warning to farmers
The Erzurum Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry has announced that the deadline for the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS), which was established to record agricultural activities, determine agricultural support, and monitor and audit agricultural policies, is approaching.
The Erzurum Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry has issued a warning to farmers. The statement noted that the Ministry provides agricultural support payments to increase plant and animal production, improve yield and quality, ensure sustainability in agricultural production, and contribute to producers in reducing production costs, stating: “The Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) work, which is used within the scope of agricultural support payments, is carried out within the framework of ÇKS regulations and instructions published by our Ministry. Real and legal persons who own or rent land and will engage in agricultural production for at least one production season can benefit from support payments by registering with the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS). For the 2024 production season, our producers must submit their Farmer Registration System applications between September 1 and January 2 through the Provincial/District Directorates of Agriculture and Forestry where their lands are located or via the e-Government Gateway.”
