The sports index on the stock market recorded a 2.5 percent decrease last month.
FENERBAHÇE DELIGHTS INVESTORS
Among the sports companies traded on Borsa Istanbul, Fenerbahçe, which completed last month with a 42.5 percent increase, stood out as the sports company that earned the most for its investors.
Fenerbahçe, which defeated Istanbulspor 6-0 in the final week of the Super Lig, finished the season in 2nd place with 99 points. Having finished the last 3 seasons in 2nd place in the Super Lig, Fenerbahçe will begin its European adventure next season from the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds.
The Yellow-Navies will start their Champions League journey from the 2nd qualifying round. If they pass this round, Fenerbahçe will advance to the 3rd qualifying round and then compete in the play-offs.
Fenerbahçe had defeated Galatasaray 1-0 away in the derby during the 37th week of the Super Lig.
TRABZONSPOR CAUSED A 1.4 PERCENT LOSS

RECORD DECLINE FOR BEŞİKTAŞ
Shares of Beşiktaş Futbol Yatırımları Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ caused a 25.4 percent loss.
Having experienced one of the worst seasons in Super Lig history, Beşiktaş closed the 2023-2024 season with a defeat in Kasımpaşa. The Black-Whites, who were defeated 2-1 by Kasımpaşa, finished the season in 6th place with 56 points.
FENERBAHÇE HAS EARNED THE MOST SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR
Looking at the stock performance of sports companies since the beginning of the year, Fenerbahçe, Trabzonspor, and Galatasaray have delighted their investors, while Beşiktaş has disappointed them.
Announced balance sheets, successes on the pitch, transfers made, revenues obtained from transfers, and sponsorship agreements have positively affected the stock market performance of sports companies since the beginning of the year.
During this period, share prices recorded an increase of 36 percent for Fenerbahçe, 27.9 percent for Trabzonspor, and 26 percent for Galatasaray, while Beşiktaş's shares decreased by 17.1 percent.
Noting that sporting success is important from a financial perspective, analysts reminded that teams at the top of the league have the chance to earn significant revenue by competing in European cups.
