Foreign investor trading volume declines on Borsa Istanbul
In May, the trading volume of foreign investors on Borsa Istanbul fell to 45 billion dollars, reaching its lowest level in the last year.
Borsa Istanbul has announced the details of transactions carried out by foreign investors for the month of May. According to the data, foreign investors made purchases totaling 22 billion 699 million dollars last month, while executing sales amounting to 22 billion 348 million dollars. As a result of these transactions, foreign net sales in May were recorded at 351 million dollars.
The total trading volume of foreign investors was determined to be 45 billion dollars, a figure that represents the lowest level seen since June 2024. During the same period, purchases of structured products and funds amounted to 122 million dollars, while sales reached 134 million dollars.
