According to the "Weekly Securities Statistics" published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, non-residents purchased a total of 586 million dollars in securities during the week of September 19. Of these purchases, 407.6 million dollars consisted of stocks, while 178 million dollars were in Government Domestic Debt Securities (GDDS).

Foreign investors' stock holdings rose from 30 billion 963.2 million dollars in the week of September 12 to 33 billion 736.8 million dollars in the week of September 19. During the same period, GDDS holdings increased from 15 billion 75 million dollars to 15 billion 160.6 million dollars.
