Foreign investors bought a net $214.8 million in stocks last week

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey has published its Weekly Securities Statistics. According to the data, non-residents purchased a net $214.8 million in stocks and $96.8 million in Government Domestic Debt Securities (GDDS) during the week of November 24, while selling $3.2 million in Corporate Debt Securities (CDS).

Thus, non-residents carried out their highest level of stock purchases since the week of September 1.

MARKET VALUE OF STOCKS IS $29.525 BILLION

The market value of stock holdings by non-residents stood at $29 billion 525.6 million.

GDDS (Outright Purchase) holdings were $1 billion 263.1 million, GDDS (Reverse Repo) holdings were $2 billion 209.7 million, and GDDS (Collateral) holdings were $747.0 million.

Corporate debt security holdings were reported at the $56.1 million level.
