Foreign investors continue buying streak on stock exchange for nine consecutive weeks
Foreign interest in Turkish lira-denominated assets has gained momentum in the new year; investments have been consistently increasing with stock purchases for nine weeks.
Foreign investors' interest in Turkish lira-denominated financial instruments accelerated significantly in the first month of the year. Recent data revealed that in the week ending January 30, foreigners purchased approximately 455 million dollars in stocks and 721.8 million dollars in bonds.
This increase shows that foreigners have been increasing their positions in the stock market for the ninth consecutive week.
