Foreign investors continue stock purchases
Non-residents purchased 145.6 million dollars worth of stocks last week.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) has published its Weekly Securities Statistics.
Accordingly, non-residents purchased a net 145.6 million dollars in stocks and 4.9 million dollars in Corporate Debt Securities (CDS) during the week of January 19, while selling 40.3 million dollars in Government Domestic Debt Securities (GDDS).
The stock portfolio of non-residents, which stood at 30 billion 789.7 million dollars as of January 12, rose to 31 billion 83.8 million dollars on January 19.
During the same period, the GDDS portfolio of non-residents fell from 2 billion 956.8 million dollars to 2 billion 880.8 million dollars, while their CDS holdings increased from 84.8 million dollars to 89.3 million dollars in the week of January 19.
