Erdoğan's message on minimum wage: 'Put your hands under the stone'

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan sent an important message to the employer side just hours before the first meeting of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission.

Erdoğan addressed the Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TİSK), which represents employers on the commission, and stated that active support must be given to the process.

COMMISSION MEETS TOMORROW

Reminding that the minimum wage determination process for 2025 will officially begin, Erdoğan stated that the commission will hold its first meeting tomorrow.

At the meeting, representatives of workers, employers, and the government will sit at the table to determine the new wage.

In his statement, Erdoğan drew attention to the responsibility of the employer side. He used the following expressions in his call to TİSK:

“I expect TİSK, which represents employers on the commission, to put their hands under the stone.”
