İŞKUR has announced the professions with the highest demand for workers! Which sector has the largest share?
The professions with the highest demand for workers have been announced in the İŞKUR report. In terms of sectors, the highest number of placements in employment occurred in the manufacturing industry. By profession, tourism and hospitality staff ranked first.
The Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) has published its November 2025 report. According to the labor market data in the report, 2 million 272 thousand 271 job openings were posted in the first 11 months of the year, while 169 thousand 534 new job openings were reported to the agency in November alone. 98.6 percent of the job openings were concentrated in the private sector.
The İŞKUR report revealed that labor demand remains high, particularly in the tourism, service, retail, and manufacturing sectors, and that there is intense activity in these areas for both employers and job seekers.
98.5 THOUSAND PEOPLE PLACED IN JOBS IN NOVEMBER
In November, 98 thousand 587 job placements were made through İŞKUR. Of these, 57 thousand 27 were men and 41 thousand 560 were women. In the January-November 2025 period, the agency facilitated 1 million 396 thousand 949 job placements.
HIGHEST NUMBER OF PLACEMENTS IN MANUFACTURING
According to the data, the highest number of placements in terms of employment by sector occurred in the manufacturing industry.
Manufacturing ranked first in both the number of people hired and the number of job openings reported by employers. The number of job openings in the manufacturing sector was recorded as 801 thousand 644 during the January-November period.
HIGH DEMAND FOR TOURISM, SECURITY, AND RETAIL
The picture is similar in İŞKUR's profession-based data. The most requested professions for both those hired and job openings were listed as follows: Tourism and hospitality staff, Private security guard (unarmed), and Retail clerk.
