The highest deposit rates have reached up to 49 percent. The net return for 100,000 TL is 3,651 TL, while for 250,000 TL it is 9,129 TL.

New deposit returns announced for 100,000 TL and 250,000 TL

The Central Bank's Monetary Policy Committee lowered the policy rate by 250 basis points last week, in line with expectations, bringing it to the 42.50 percent level. The next interest rate meeting will take place on April 17, 2025. Before that date, the CBRT will have seen many macroeconomic data points, primarily March inflation.

In the latest decision text, it was emphasized that they would proceed in a "data-driven" manner, and the following statements were included: "The Committee will determine the steps to be taken regarding the policy rate with an inflation-focused, cautious, and meeting-based approach."

Economists state that the annual inflation, which is currently at 39.05 percent, continues to remain below the policy rate, and express the view that new declines in inflation could support another 250 basis point cut in April.
