New regulations on pensions and additional payments: Where can you find information?

Following the fact that the lowest pension has fallen behind 1 month of rent, the upcoming increase in pensions continues to be a topic of public debate.

While estimates regarding the amount of the upcoming pension increase are being discussed, retirees want to calculate their total monthly income, including the additional payments they will receive.

Sworn-in Financial Advisor and Economist Muhammet Bayram states that additional payments for pensions vary depending on the salary amount.

Bayram explains that the previous practice of additional payments through the collection of receipts and invoices has been abolished, and instead, an additional payment of 5 percent is made to those receiving pensions below a certain amount, and 4 percent to those receiving pensions above a certain amount.

Considering the expected inflation rates for October and November, the pension increase rate will be approximately between 16 and 17 percent.

In addition to this, there is an expectation of a higher increase rate for retirees receiving lower pensions.

Sworn-in Financial Advisor Bayram estimates that the lowest pension will be between 15,000 TL and 17,500 TL.
