The raise rate for SSK, BAĞ-KUR, and civil servant retirees has been determined! The 2026 salary table has emerged

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has published the consumer and producer price index data for December. Accordingly, annual inflation in December was calculated at 30.89 percent.

HOW ARE CIVIL SERVANT AND RETIREE RAISES DETERMINED?

Salary increases for civil servants and civil servant retirees are calculated by taking into account the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement and the inflation difference.

The salaries of SSK and BAĞ-KUR retirees are increased directly according to the 6-month inflation rate.

RAISE RATES HAVE BEEN CLARIFIED

Following TÜİK's sharing of the December inflation data with the public, the raise rates that retirees will receive have also been determined.

Accordingly, worker retirees will receive a raise of 12.18 percent.

The salary increase for civil servants and civil servant retirees was calculated at 18.60 percent.

WILL A WELFARE SHARE BE GRANTED?

The raise difference between SSK and BAĞ-KUR retirees and civil servants and civil servant retirees was resolved with the welfare share regulation implemented last year. How the difference that has emerged this year will be compensated will depend on the decision to be made by the government.

Evaluations regarding the welfare share are expected to be addressed at the Economic Coordination Board and Cabinet meeting to be held today. After the new amount to be determined for the lowest pension is announced, it is anticipated that the regulation will be added to the omnibus bill to be discussed in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) via a motion.
