Weekly volatility continued in Borsa Istanbul and the foreign exchange market. While the BIST 100 index rose, there was an increase in dollar/TL and gold prices. The Euro, however, lost value.
The BIST 100 index, after seeing a low of 9,962.62 and a high of 10,276.73 points, finished the week at 10,125.46 points, 0.44 percent above the previous week's close.

The selling price of quarter gold, which was 4,943 liras last weekend, increased by 1.36 percent to 5,010 liras.
This week, the US dollar gained 0.49 percent in value to reach 34.9500 liras, while the euro fell by 0.45 percent to 36.7460 liras.
Investment funds gained 0.98 percent and pension funds gained 0.96 percent this week.
When viewed by category, the best-performing investment funds were "precious metals" funds with a gain of 2.16 percent.
