The gold market began the new week at historic highs. While gram gold was trading at 5,100 liras in the morning hours, the quarter gold, which is the most preferred by investors, rose to 8,600 liras, and the Republic gold climbed to 34,240 liras.

Gram gold, which closed last week at 5,025 liras with a 0.5 percent gain in parallel with the rise in the ounce price, reached record levels on the first trading day of the week with a 1.5 percent increase in value.
