Google launches a new era in online shopping

US-based tech giant Google is developing brand-new features for the e-commerce world. These new features, which are already available for some users as part of a test, seem set to make life easier for users who shop online.

The Google Shopping system began displaying price information years ago. When you search for a product via Google Search and enter the "shopping" section, you can see price distributions for that product on the product details page. This section will now serve in a more advanced way. Users will see a 90-day price graph for the product in question. Moreover, users will now be able to sign up for email alerts for price drops.

MOST POPULAR PRODUCTS WILL BE VISIBLE

Google has developed another feature that will allow users to shop more quickly. This new feature will keep you informed about a product you have bookmarked. The new feature, which will automatically detect that the content is a product, will save the bookmark with a "shopping list" tag. Thus, you will be able to add all the products you want to track prices for to this list and activate price notifications with a single tap.

Meanwhile, the Google Chrome search bar will now also support a new shopping feature. Retailer discount codes will now be displayed in the search bar as well. Users who click on the tag icon will be able to see the details regarding the discount code in a drop-down menu.

There is another new feature that will allow you to reach products you have searched for in the past more quickly. The new tab page in Google Chrome will begin showing products viewed in the past. Using this list, it will be possible to quickly access the most popular items and gift offers throughout 2023.
