As for the new day, with gram gold starting with a flat trend, it is at the 2,000 lira level, just below its previous close, as of 10:00 AM. At the same time, quarter gold is being sold at 3,350 liras, and Republic gold is being sold at 13,650 liras.
Yesterday, the ounce price of gold, which fluctuated in the 2,030-2,045 dollar band, closed the day at 2,035 dollars with a 0.1 percent decrease. Currently, it is finding buyers at 2,033 dollars, a 0.1 percent loss in value.
While signs that economic activity in the US continues its strong course persist, developments in the Middle East and statements by US Federal Reserve (Fed) officials are being closely monitored by investors.
As Fed members continue to make cautious statements regarding interest rate cuts, the probability of the Fed keeping the policy rate constant in March has risen to 82 percent in money markets.
Analysts stated that in addition to the Inflation Report, weekly money and bank statistics will be monitored domestically today, while weekly unemployment benefit applications and wholesale inventory data will be watched in the US abroad, emphasizing that technically, the 2,040 and 2,060 dollar levels are resistance, and the 2,020 and 2,010 dollar levels are support positions for the ounce price of gold.
