Highest automotive exports went to Germany

According to data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), the automotive industry, which achieved 3 billion 172 million 87 thousand dollars in exports last month, was followed by chemicals and chemical products with 2 billion 878 million 850 thousand dollars, and the ready-to-wear and apparel sector with 1 billion 432 million 47 thousand dollars.

In November, the highest export increase compared to the same period last year occurred in the ship, yacht, and services sector with 372 percent.

Last month, the industrial group, which accounted for 70.4 percent of Turkey's total exports, saw a 5 percent increase, reaching 16 billion 204 million 542 thousand dollars in exports.

The agricultural group, which makes up 14.5 percent of total exports, saw a 0.8 percent increase to 3 billion 342 million 917 thousand dollars, while the mining group, which has a 2.1 percent share, saw a 4 percent decrease to 483 million 272 thousand dollars in exports.

MOST EXPORTS TO GERMANY

In the ranking of countries with the highest exports in November, Germany took the top spot with 1 billion 512 million 403 thousand dollars, followed by the United Arab Emirates with 1 billion 124 million 219 thousand dollars and the USA with 1 billion 67 million 992 thousand dollars.

The top 3 provinces with the highest exports last month were Istanbul with 8 billion 719 million 808 thousand dollars, Kocaeli with 1 billion 654 million 667 thousand dollars, and Bursa with 1 billion 493 million 704 thousand dollars, respectively.
