How did the markets close the day?

GOLD OUNCE PRICE

The ounce of gold is trading at 2,216 dollars in international markets as of 18:30. In the Borsa Istanbul Gold Market, the price of a kilogram of standard gold rose by 0.3 percent to 2 million 416 thousand liras.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (TCMB) announced today's effective exchange rate for the dollar as 32.2370 liras for buying and 32.3662 liras for selling. The TCMB had previously set the effective exchange rate at 32.1425 liras for buying and 32.2713 liras for selling.

In international markets, as of 18:30, the euro/dollar parity is at 1.0800, the sterling/dollar parity is at 1.2640, and the dollar/yen parity is at 151.20.

The price of a barrel of London Brent crude oil is trading at 86.4 dollars, an increase of 0.9 percent.
