How did the stock market start the day on January 4, 2023?
The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul started the day with a 0.13 percent increase at 7,421.86 points.
At the opening, the BIST 100 index rose by 9.83 points and 0.13 percent compared to the previous close, reaching 7,421.86 points.
The banking index recorded an increase of 0.10 percent, and the holding index rose by 0.01 percent. Among sector indices, construction was the top gainer with 0.86 percent, while the securities investment trust index saw the largest decline at 1.20 percent.
Yesterday, the BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul followed a selling-weighted trend, closing the day with a 2.78 percent loss at 7,412.04 points.
