How much will it rise? Pensioner's 5-month raise rate becomes clear

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) has announced the inflation data for November. Inflation increased by 3.28 percent monthly last month, and reached 61.98 percent on an annual basis.

Thus, the raise rate that civil servants and pensioners will receive based on 5-month inflation has become clear. Accordingly, the raise rate for SSK and Bağ-Kur pensioners is already 33.64 percent, while this rate is 44.89 percent for civil servants.

33 PERCENT IS CERTAIN

Following the announcement of the November inflation figures by TUIK, the 5-month inflation difference, which will be decisive for civil servant and pensioner raises, has also taken shape. 

Inflation increased by 9.49 percent in July, 9.09 percent in August, 4.75 percent in September, 3.43 percent in October, and 3.28 percent in November. Thus, SSK and Bağ-Kur pensioners have already secured a 33.64 percent inflation difference.

5-MONTH CIVIL SERVANT RAISE IS 44.89 PERCENT

The inflation difference for civil servants is calculated differently. When the civil servant inflation difference and the collective bargaining agreement raise are taken into account, the 5-month civil servant raise, including the inflation difference, reached 44.89 percent.

HOW MUCH WILL THE LOWEST SALARY BE?

According to the 33.64 percent raise, the lowest pension will increase from 7,500 TL to 10,023 TL, and according to the 44.89 percent raise, the lowest civil servant salary will increase from 22 thousand TL to 31 thousand 875 TL. These figures will increase further once the December inflation data is announced.
