Huge fine for Nestle from the Competition Board

The Turkish subsidiary of the Swiss-based Nestle has been fined 346 million 911 thousand lira for violating the Law on the Protection of Competition.

This fine was imposed on Nestle Turkey as a result of an investigation launched by the Competition Board. The company was penalized for violating the Law on the Protection of Competition by determining the resale prices of its distributors and imposing regional and customer restrictions on them. The decision was taken unanimously.

Nestle Turkey has the right to appeal this decision within 60 days.
