Sales of impounded vehicles continue

The sales process for approximately 700 thousand vehicles held in impound lots, which no longer legally require safekeeping, began as of November 1.

According to the decision published in the Official Gazette on October 18, the sales procedures for vehicles that no longer legally require safekeeping have commenced. Vehicles kept in impound lots can first be retrieved by the debtor who owns the property.

If the debtor does not retrieve the vehicle, the lienholder will be given the opportunity to purchase it.

In the event that the vehicle is not retrieved in either case, the vehicles will be transferred to MKE A.Ş.
