Index contract on VIOP starts the week with a rise (13.05.2024)
The June-dated contract based on the BIST 30 index on the Borsa Istanbul Derivatives Market (VIOP) started the week with a 0.2 percent increase at 11,644.00 points.
The June-dated index contract on the Borsa Istanbul Derivatives Market (VIOP) traded at 11,644.00, up 0.2 percent from the previous normal session close, during the opening session.
On Friday, the index contract followed a bearish trend, completing the normal session at 11,628.00 points, 1.6 percent below its previous close. The index contract remained flat during the evening session.
While investors in global markets are seen maintaining a cautious stance due to uncertainties regarding the future policies of the US Federal Reserve (Fed), inflation data to be announced in the US on Wednesday is expected to increase volatility in the markets.
