Istanbul's most expensive hotels revealed: Nightly room rates are jaw-dropping

With the approach of the summer season in Istanbul, room rates at high-end hotels have returned to the agenda. Nightly accommodation rates announced for July at the city's luxury facilities, particularly those located along the Bosphorus, have reached remarkable levels.

According to the ranking prepared based on single-person, one-night accommodation prices between July 20-24, 2026, the cost of staying at the hotel at the top of the list exceeded 48 thousand liras. At some hotels, the nightly rate is higher than the monthly minimum wage in Turkey.

While hotels with Bosphorus views and those affiliated with international chains make up the majority of the prices, the list includes facilities in different locations ranging from the historic peninsula to the Beşiktaş and Sarıyer line.

HOTELS ON THE BOSPHORUS LINE STAND OUT

While a significant portion of the facilities in the ranking are located around the Bosphorus, the nightly rates of the first four hotels on the list approached or exceeded the 40 thousand lira threshold. Even the lowest-priced hotel had a single-night accommodation cost of over 18 thousand liras.
