Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that they have deposited a total of 3.2 billion TL in elderly and disability pensions for January into accounts. Minister Göktaş stated that within this scope, they have deposited approximately 1.8 billion TL in elderly pensions and approximately 1.4 billion TL in disability pensions into the accounts of the beneficiaries.
"FOR THEIR FULL AND EFFECTIVE PARTICIPATION IN SOCIAL LIFE"
Stating that they are developing inclusive and regular social assistance programs for disabled and elderly citizens, Minister Göktaş said, “We stand by disabled and elderly citizens in every field, from education to health, and from the economy to social life, so that they can participate fully and effectively in social life and live independently. In this direction, we have deposited a total of 3.2 billion TL in elderly and disability pensions for January into accounts” she stated.
THERE WILL BE AN INCREASE IN PENSIONS
Noting that there will be an increase in elderly and disability pensions following the new regulation in the civil servant salary coefficient for January, Minister Göktaş said, “To ensure our citizens do not experience any loss of rights, we will deposit the January differences into their accounts along with the February period payment” she added.
