With the new regulation, joint-stock companies can be established with a minimum capital of 250 thousand TL, and limited liability companies with 50 thousand TL.
Presidential Decree No. 7887 regarding the increase of the minimum capital amount for joint-stock and limited liability companies was published in the Official Gazette dated November 25, 2023, and numbered 32380.
As of January 1, 2024, joint-stock companies can be established with a minimum capital of 250 thousand TL, and limited liability companies with 50 thousand TL.
For existing companies whose capital is below the specified amounts, there is no obligation to increase capital at this stage.
