List of most valuable Turkish brands announced! Notable change in the top 5
In the new report published by Brand Finance, Turkish Airlines maintained its top position for another consecutive year, while key data regarding Turkey's five most valuable brands and their sector distribution for 2026 were shared.
According to the 2026 “Turkey’s Most Valuable and Strongest Brands-Turkey 125” study conducted by Brand Finance, Turkish Airlines (THY) once again managed to top the list with a brand value of 2 billion 884 million dollars. Operating in many fields from consumer durables to the financial sector, and from automotive to aviation, Turkish companies continued to increase their brand values steadily.
In second place on the list is Arçelik with a value of 1 billion 989 million dollars. Türkiye İş Bankası maintained its third-place position this year with 1 billion 243 million dollars. Ford Otosan, which was in fifth place last year, rose to fourth place this year, gaining a value of 1 billion 37 million dollars. Ziraat Bankası took the fifth spot on the list with a brand value of 958 million dollars.
A total of 13 new brands were included in the “Turkey 125” list this year. Among these, Alfa Solar, ATP, Baykar, Besler, Çelebi Aviation, Datagate, e-Bebek, Karaca, Karel, Koçtaş, Ray Sigorta, Trabzonspor, and Yudum stand out.
VALUE OF 125 BRANDS INCREASED BY 15 PERCENT
Evaluating the research results, Brand Finance Turkey Director Muhterem İlgüner emphasized that the total value of the list consisting of 125 brands reached 19.6 billion dollars from 17 billion dollars, an increase of 15 percent compared to last year.
Stating that the rise in 2024 and 2025 was driven by the international success of electronics and ready-to-wear brands, as well as the momentum gained in the aviation and defense sectors, İlgüner made the following remarks:
"The momentum provided by aviation and defense, financial services, and electronics and ready-to-wear brands located abroad positively affects the total brand value. Banking services account for 23 percent of the total brand value, while airline and electronics brands account for 15 percent. Renewable energy brands have started to find a place on the list. An important point observed over the years is that revenue generated abroad and in relatively stable country markets has a positive effect on brand value calculation. Therefore, the expansion, acceptance, and strengthening of Turkish brands abroad will positively affect their brand values."
Pointing out that the TURQUALITY Project is an exemplary study conducted to strengthen Turkish brands on a global scale, İlgüner continued his words as follows:
"It will be necessary to expect the results of this support program, which currently has nearly 500 member brands, to be evaluated as brand success rather than export success. For this, it would be appropriate to closely monitor and measure the success of member brands. In addition, there would be great benefit in the branding of the TURQUALITY Project itself."
